    Common (as in often seen) it may be - but it is lovely, and that photo is just great.

    oh it was so popular in my dads day, then everyone decided that if planted south facing it faded so they grew stronge colours of same thing, but you are right strongy, she is a girl worth saving!

    I got 3 clematis sent free from T & M just not sure what they are, so fingers crossed I amy have a nelly.

    I'm sure others must have some Clematis in flower now or soon, lets see some more. [​IMG]

    Fantastic "Nelly" Strongy, I just love Clematis, posted a question about mine having "Wilt" but nobody replied, guess nobody loves me :(

    I only have the one clematis and as it is healthy and in flower I can't say what is wrong with yours, I don't really know enough about them to advise, sorry you have not found any help. :(

    Oh I love them - I once reckoned I had 17 in the garden, now I can't remember appart from "prince of Wales" and "lady Die" whome I had the misfortune to stick in the same bed ;)

    Lost my common as muck montana this year, bur he usually comes back - have his sister too "elizabeth" she is doing much better. will try to post some pics as they are a great thing to have around.
