    This is a great society for anyone interested in cottage gardens, herbs, informal gardening etc. Covering the whole country and divided into regions, they produce a quarterly magazine, visits, seed exchanges and talks. The only thing missing is a message board. Their website is http://www.thecgs.org.uk/
