Crafters Corner 2023/2024

Here's a painting I did in my art group, of an old church up one of the hills near here, it's a creepy place but we used to walk to it through a bluebell wood many years ago.
I have put marks on it and resized it, to make it difficult to steal.

 

I used to knit little figurines. Mostly of Morrissey.

 

I like your church painting @Michael Hewett. Can I ask the name of the church as I'd like to look it up?

Hi @eatenbyweasels I wonder if you could tell me how you get those words on your picture, I would like to be able to do that to my paintings when I show them on the internet, so that they don't get 'stolen'

It was a long time ago. I think I was using Photoshop on a laptop.

Your church painting is lovely @Michael Hewett . I too envy your talent.

@eatenbyweasels and @Valley Gardener no amount of wool would give me the urge tho I do love a good jumper. We have a small group of knitters at patchwork club who knit endless jumpers all year which surprises me given that a normal Vendée winter is neither very cold nor very long.

 

I have that too @Victoria, thank you, I'll see what I can do with it.

 

Heres a church I did in Oils. 3ft x 1ft.
My daughter is getting married in it next month.
