Hi Marley, yes I,m afraid Mrs Woo collects very old cuckoo Clocks ,so I am surrounded by running water and cuckoos on the hour, she does,nt like a house too quiet,I think it comes from her fairground background ,her dad owned a large Roundabout which is still in her family, and they used to paint all the horses by hand:dh::hehe::)

Hi Woo, that sounds a lovely present, I love chiming clocks too, but one cuckoo clock is enough for me.
Some only make the cuckoo noise, they don't all have chimes/music. Do you mean that the cuckoo doesn't pop out? Well maybe there is a transport lever inside that holds it in place so it doesn't spring out in transit and scare the postman. There might be a clamp on the bellows and some have a 'silent/night time' latch too, in case you want a nights sleep! Have a peep inside to see if theres any little latches/levers/clamps to remove.
