Ok, it's that ime of year when the lighs get dusted off and put on the tree, the shops are at bursting point with frantic shoppers and the garden looks a bit drab and dreary.

Soo...

What's on your Dear Santa list of gismos, gadgets, gnomes, seeds, plants and other gardening paraphernalia?

Whether it's just a new pair of thermal wellies (with self cleaning soles and built in corn remover) or that nice little 1/2 acre glasshouse that you just know you'll manage to fit in the back garden of your semi, it's time to get the wishlist out.

Dear Santa,

I've been good all year (well there was just that one time I looked over next door at Mrs. Dietsoff sunbathing but honestly it wasn't a pretty sight) so could I please have a new pair of bypass secateurs as I lost mine in the compost heap when I fell off the wall.

Dear Santa, please would you expand my garden to 120' by 120' instead of by 30'. If you could do that for me I will be good all next year, well most of next year, well some of next year. Hey will one day do?
