Can't we just run a poll with the names that have already been suggested and then get the ball rolling with the new section? I don't mind setting up the poll if no one wants to do it

    Thank you jjordie...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dh:

 To me that sounds perfect...!!!:thmb: After all don't we want anyone who is having trouble gardening because of one problem or another or disability to be lost for somewhere to go... Do we....????
We want them to come to Gardeners Corner don't we..???? Where they feel comfortable... Whatever our personal feelings are..?????????

As Kristen has said many times it is the Google search results that are important to all & all the search engines search on key words don't they....???????????????????? For them to come to GC is what we want isn't it.??????????????????????????
So we & others in trouble will arrive at GC & find friendly specific help quickly & easily amongst friends to our problems.......................?????????????????????????????:flag: I think jordie has it... Lightheaerted but serious all in one..!!! I have nothing more to say on this matter....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flag:

Am all for that - would it come up on a search engine though if you typed in something like "gardening for the disabled" ??

It still includes a tag or label of "Disabled" singling out some but not others and therefore segregates some from others..

    How about..

"Gardening made easier - for those with decreased physical ability"

Much better to my mind and less selctive, covering a broader range of the population who might find the new area useful.

I daresay that topics within that forum would include the now iconic word "Disabled" a multitude of times, which would I know provide the required search results on google. Disabled people would have no trouble findding their way here, or finding and using the new area with the above wording.

    Steve...:)

The wording Jordie came up with is excellent, changing the word disabled is pointless. Disabled is a widely used and understood term.

decreased physical ability is imo a load of flowery claptrap.
