Does anyone have a clue what this is??

I was given the below plant by the Chair Lady of my local Gardening Club tonight. She said she found it growing in her garden but hasn't a clue what it is, and I'm afraid neither do I although it's "ringing a bell" somewhere in the back of my mind.





By the the one and only flower fell out on it's way back home, but it was blue!
