does my canna have virus?

    Hi,

    do you think this is virus? or is it just sunburn?

    any help much appreciated.

    The brown crispy bits isn't a virus, it could be sunburn but leaf edges dying back can often be a combination of sun and wind that dries the edge of the leaves.

      Your Canna looks like "Stuttgart", I tried it a few years but it always burns in direct sunlight, I gave up on it as to me Cannas should be tropical heat loving plants given plenty of water.

        thanks guys, you've put my mind at ease. it is getting morning to midday sun at the moment, its still potted so ill try it in a different position and see if it copes better.
