"Donations" to site upkeep?

      Just bumping this thread this afternoon. I spend quite a bit of my time gathering, and hopefully passing on some useful information from Gardeners Corner.
      I have noticed however that the sum of £5 donated this month hasn't changed. I cannot believe that some regular users still don't think they should pay for what they see and take from this Forum....

        It's a good idea to bump this especially when we've had quite a few new members Jenny. However, a lot of us older members do donate Jenny but perhaps in a larger sum, more occasionally, so some months will not be showing as well as others. :)

            Good on you Jenny, I usually take this mantle on but I was getting a bit embarrassed beating the drum every two months
            We need to let this escape to Gardening General, as not many new users come down here on the forums

            Something on the lines of
            To keep this forum open, we need some donations, anything even a £1 would be good

            So if you have not donated already, give us a thought or preferably a £1

              But not Gold anymore, they've just learned how to extract that from water so the bottom will fall out of that soon.

                To get to the Home page you click 'Forum'. Then on the righthand side there is a box saying 'Running cost donation'. In bottom right of that box is a yellow 'Give' button. :dbgrtmb:
