Yes, I saw they had a light dusting... :thud:
Any sign of it crossing the pond?

I saw a weather report about it earlier. It will be here by Tuesday but only in the form of rain as the weather system will pick up moist air over the Atlantic.

@hydrogardener is in New York but he says he's fine. It all missed him by about 30 miles. Hope you found your cats @redstar

Sunday morning, storm all done here. Power remained on. One cat still missing. have to go search again. Why she did not go under the deck, or in the heated cat house is crazy. She does not like to be inside--I have tried over the years. Her brother the other outdoor just fine, they always hang together. Have been feeding both extra to fatten up for winter so she has weight on her. She does come to her name, hope she makes a noise if stuck somewhere. Snow is up to the knees in many places, some to my butt. Did notice animal tracks down in the woods maybe she just cannot make it up through it all. (or another animal) have to get the plow guy, hope my neighbors kids want to make some money. Thanks for concern.

Located the missing outdoor cat. She put herself in the storm drain not far from the house, near the gardens, she answered to her name, and I saw her, looks good, she is standing etc. we have pounded down a path in the snow to help her walk through it to come up to the house. Now it is just waiting for her to get over her timidness and to venture up to the house. there is no way we can reach her, she would just go further in the drain. we also put a bowl of food near there hope to get her out. She is not one that will readily come up close to me etc. You could see how she tried to get home and turned around, but the deep snow stopped. hopefully with the path we made she will follow it home. fingers crossed. I keep calling her now and then from the house . the psychology of a cat.

we got our plow guy in line for our long drive. some neighbor kids to do hand shoveling. they did plow our street late last night. The end of the drive is huge with that pile. fun.

Cat--still has not made it up to the house. However, she is sitting outside on a board we put there. She looks good. Her brother and mother have gone down. I am hoping she will just follow them up. sun is warm. the path is clear for them to walk, so its a matter of time. Cats are so strange. thanks all for your concern. Now to go shovel again. and burn calories.

and the long driveway is plowed finally. now to do paths etc, and shovel out my car. we put both on the lawn near the drive. fun.

Cats ok, she is in her heated house . Long drive cleared, cars dug out and moving . the snow banks on the side of the drives are above our shoulders, so that is about 6 feet high. glass of wine poured. tired.
