EMAILS

I replied to the ' what's your weather ' thread and now I'm getting emails from fellow gardeners who have also replied.
How does that work?

 

It's because you have the box checked which sends you an email notification each time the thread is updated.

You can easily change this. Hover over your user name (top right of the screen) and a drop down box will appear, scroll down to "Preferences" and click on that. Scroll down the new page to "Options" and then uncheck the tick box next to "receive email notifications of replies".

As M says and you may have to go to "what's your weather" thread and in the top right hand corner there's "unwatch thread" click unwatch thread and then click watch thread that's if you don't want email notificaions but you will still get your alerts
