enhance cctv video

hi does anyone know how to get a image / video from cctv clearer we are trying to see the number plate of this car ,we are trying to get help from police as our lives could be at risk

 

It is impossible to clean up an image like that. The information is not there to begin with. Assuming you have an accurate time stamp the Police may be able to glean information from any ANPR cameras in the neighbourhood.

 

thanks for your reply , yes it has been taken from our cctv system we have had the police out 6 times concerning issues with neighbours , we also think that the chap in his car is out to hurt us but we have no proof at the moment all though we have cctv and video door cam running 24/7

 

Most high end image enhancement software needs multiple images of the thing you want to enhance. A single image unfortunately won't do. The process basically has software match multiple images together, then look for subtle differences between pixels, then does some fancy maths to work out what is just camera artifacts and what is actually information.

hi we do have a 50 second clip on video from the cctv system of this vehicle and person

 

its to do with the past , the police wont act at the moment as nothing is direct we feel that our neighbours want us dead

It's the silver car .
The rubbish belongs to neighbours

 

What exactly have the neighbours said or done to make you feel so insecure and they want you dead.
Has there be confrontations and abuse.

As I said its to do with my past the neighbours are trying to get me into prison.. the police was and still is involved and dropped a case against me the neighbours won't take no for a answer ..no abuse etc at the moment we are under police . Asc .and 2 local councils ..

The worst thing you can do is to start imagining that the situation is far worse than it really is and end up blowing things out of proportion. The Police look at things dispationately. From what youre saying, they wont act because there is nothing to act upon.

Avoid your neighbours. Dont interact with them and carry on with your day. Worrying will not help, in fact that may be what your neighbours want you to do.

I assume a public highway outside your house, so people can come and go as they please. I wouldnt read anything into people parking outside.

 

The problem is at the moment it's not direct but when hearing I was going to be shot is not right...
Yes a mistake was made over 30 years ago the police won't arrest me .the neighbours won't take no for a answer
Yes people come and go but never seen them in the 6 yrs of living here.
We got cctv and door bell camera .police know I take a carving knife to bed with me as we are disabled and vulnerable..
Even the vets has concerns over the dogs safety due to the situation
