    No, it's accessible to search engines and as I can view my test blog entry without being logged in, it appears to be accessible to anybody, not just GC members.

      But is that only if you're searching for it? Is it just as easy to find as other blogs or does it require a specific search? If the blog is linked in the signature it's seen without searching for a blog - although it requires someone to look at the posts in a thread.

      I look at people's blogs that are in threads because my eye is drawn to them but wouldn't dream of looking specifically for something.
