Find all posts in previous 24 hours?

Obviously we have the "What's New?" button and we have "Alerts", but, sometimes I may see a thread, open it, then get sidetracked by real life: thus, when I return, because I've "opened" it, it no longer appears in the "What's New?"; because I didn't comment on it, it doesn't show up in my "Alerts" either.

I was just wondering if there is a way of having a button on the menu bar to press which showed "Today's" posts (or, "Previous 24hrs"?)

Or maybe there is a way and I simply haven't found/learned it, yet

 

You could use the search function if you knew who posted the thread or the title of it. Don't know if this helps?

Yes, I do understand that is an option and I have familiarised myself with it quite a number of times since becoming a member. Unfortunately I cannot remember who posted or the title Hence my question really; it could be useful.

 

If you log out and then use the whats new button you'll see all the posts. Then just log back in when you've found what you're looking for.

Bit faffy though: having to pretend to not be a member just so you can back-track and then have to be a member so you can reply if required

 

What I do is go into What's New and then down on the right hand side above the first post there is a All Recent Messages which will give you all, no need to log out.

If you posted on the thread, you can also do 'Watched threads', scroll to the bottom, and click 'Show all watched threads'.
