FLOOD PROTECTION..

    I agree WF and have now taken to copying my message then going back and pasting it and having another go - but I have forgotten to go back on occasions and thought Id posted and havent! [​IMG]

    there is only 3 of us logged in and i went to answer in introduction hello from italy and i got flood protection and i was the only one in that section.

    [​IMG] The only time I get the flood protection flash up when I do a very quick reply & try & post it imediately...!! It is the 60second rule, as Nathan says.. I just press the back button & wait a couple of secs & retry & it is always fine... I have never lost a post because of it....!! :( [​IMG] I am glad it is there,,, as it is for our benefit folks...!!!! ;) [​IMG]

    certain messages i have lost through flood protection and i have had to type my message back in, happens more in pms.
    As you say marley it is for our benefit which i,m sure we will have to put up with a little set back to protect us.

    :( Yes it is a small price to pay rosa, but I have never lost any posts or text, due to it, PMs or posts.!! I just press the back button & it takes me back to my text window so just wait a sec & try again..!!

    I've only had it happen once (this week) and just followed the on-screen instructions and didn't lose my text.

    Billy Goat Gruff used to be the most effective detterent against trolls when I was a kid. :D :D :D
