For Cat Lovers

I have this condition ...

Scientists have identified a newly contagious condition: Purralysis — a state in which a human becomes physically incapable of moving because a cat has settled on their lap.

 

I suffer from that. After 11 years of being ignored, our last remaining moggy has decided that she wants to sit on me. Question is, why does she always choose to do it when I need to go o the bathroom?

 

As I use a laptop, it makes it very difficult to do anything on here and as I have two, they take turns...... Better than T'other half I guess ... he lounges on the sofa with his feet up so he has one on his chest and the other on his outstretched legs ...

 

A thought for visitors ...

 

The cat who has just decided to sit on me after 11 years, has never actually been seen by nearly all our visitors. A car pulls up on the drive and she disappears. If the visitors are the squealing type (ie small children) she does not come home for two days.

 

Yes my cats still run away from my niece (and indeed all visitors) in case she is still that loud toddler! She has trained them to come back out from hiding with some cat treats now.

 

Van is our alert visitors have arrived ... he comes through the ct flap at a high rate through the kitchen, lounger, foyer and into our bedroom sand under the bed. He will not surface till he is 100% positive it is just us. On the other hand, Munchkin greets everyone and searches their bags or whatever they have with them!

I love them all, whatever their quirks may be.

 

Two days ago I was ambushed by two cats on my way to the shops. A large ginger and a small young black and white with a tinkly bell. I loved it! They wouldn't leave me alone. I hope they're there next time.
