    Can you help please?
This snapped off in the wind, I've never seen a flower pod (don't know if that's the right term) like this. Looks wierd. If the rest survive these winds it will be a miracle. Can't even remember if I was given these plants or I grew them from seed. Any ideas?

I think the first is a poppy bud, and the second a Cardamine, but I am not sure what species.

Oh true, may very well be. Why do I see cardamines everywhere? Time to go and have a good nap.

Thanks all. Is there another name for Erisinium? I don't remember being given it under that name (only given a couple of plants) and don't know it from my seed packets.

As for the poppy, that will be wow. I had a pack of seeds but obviously didn't label them. So pleased if they come through, blooming wind might break the stems though.

    thanks mates.

David, you are good. How do remember all those names? Can't remember the common names myself, although saying that i can identify some obvious ones now that I wouldn't have been able to do a few years ago. thanks GC again.

    cheers

Thanks David. I'll have a google. So it's perennial anyway, that's good. Why do I think wallflowers are big things?sigh!

Going to get dressed & have a wander round to see if any more flowers appearing (yes I know I'm a lazy so and so, lol).

    Thanks

Oh btw, I did sow some poppy seeds. I think, if they are the same ones, they are Californian Poppies. Would you agree on that?

    cheers

Sorry, I've looked at all of the plant seed packets I have left & think these may actually be Poppies 'Iceland', that's all it says on the packet but there is a picture of a bud just like these.

    Thanks
