I couldn't see what AARP stands for - what is the name of this organisation?

As for the articles, I'd agree with three of them but the fourth, arthroscopy of an arthritic knee joint, is irrelevant as they are discussing it as if it's a treatment which it isn't - it's a diagnostic procedure. Have said that, many surgeons are of the opinion that diagnostic 'scopes are unnecessary as most of the info required can be obtained from history taking, xrays and MRI scans but a lot of surgeons still prefer to do them.

AARP stands for American Association for Retired Persons.

It is an organization which provides so many avenues for people in lots of areas, health information, insurance, discounts, local groups, clubs, tons of stuff, the list is endless. I joined about 10 years ago, very cheap.
But you can go on line to google put in AARP and see all sorts of information for free.

But the information they provide are needed well before the age of retirement. I still have 4-5 years to go. Very interesting information. Really worth the look.
