fox tail

    Hi, can a fox shed It's tail if it is caught by a predator? And live to tell the tale? :D

    First question: Do foxes have any natural predators?

    Second question: You sure that's a foxes tail and not one of them giant hairy caterpillar thingys? :D

    A wolf maybe...I was near the ramshead :heehee:
    Maybe it got caught in a fence and detached It's tail, it was near a fence, no sign of the rest of it though. Exploding frogs and fox's spontaneously shedding their tails. Weird :scratch:

    I dont rate its chances when infection sets in , very sad realy it must be in pain.

    I know if it was a dog it would need antibiotics and maybe a operation to close over the would and maybe remove part of the bone joint , you can seewire ?? in the background it may have caught itself up on that.

    And predators us and dogs !!
