This thing has been on before but I'm having a go at it. Seems exceptionally easy so far but stops or slows down every so often so I close it. As Zigs says, it picks up again where you left off.

got as far as 'irk', this time, and found it annoying :snork:

It seems to get slower after about five answers so have shut it again. I was up to level 20 and it shows there are 60 levels.

It's slow because it has to bring an advert up each time (they're the sponsors) and I have a very slow connection.

I've given up, not just because it was slow but because it told me I had got a word wrong. The one that they said was the correct word wasn't on the list offered.

If you really want to make a big difference to food bank donations read on ...

          Neighbourhood Food Collection - Tesco.com

"The top-up is calculated using an average valuation of £1.68/kg for all food donated. This valuation is calculated by looking up the items that make up a standard food parcel (as handed out by the charity) and checking the prices of these items in Tesco's standard own-label range. The total weight of the box and total value of all the items inside are then used to reach the £1.68/kg valuation used. On the day of the collections, stores with Trussell Trust food banks will weigh all the food collected, calculate a total value (at £1.68/kg), of which 20% will be given by Tesco to the Trussell Trust. In stores that are collecting for FareShare, the food will be delivered back to FareShare's local depots, where the food will be weighed. The total weight collected will be used to calculate a total value (based on the £1.68/kg valuation), of which 20% will be given by Tesco to FareShare."

So what you need to do is buy 17p/2L bottles of water, either Tesco Everyday Value Still Water 2Ltr - Groceries - Tesco Groceries or
Tesco Everyday Value Sparkling Water 2Ltr - Groceries - Tesco Groceries and put them in the food collection point.

They will both weigh approx. 2Kg, which x £1.68/Kg x 20% = a further 67p given by Tesco, a massive 4x/400% top up, meaning that overall, more stuff will get given to foodbanks if you donate cheap bottles of water rather than expensive food.
