We're getting some horrendous weather just now, bitter winds, frosty, snow, generally bloody freezing!

Would it be advisable to keep my blueberry plant and apple tree in my shed? If so, should I keep them in all the time, or just over night then bring them out through the day?

I've always kept my blueberry bushes outside all winter, but I'm a bit further south than you, seeing as you're up in Scotland.

Same with apples. I have them on my very exposed piece of land and so far I've found that if they are going to take any damage, it will be from deer in the winter and bugs in the summer.

I decided to put them both in for tonight as the weather is really bad. We have our heating up full, the winds are awful! If nothing else, at least there's no risk of them being blown over!
