    Hi All,

We have hundreds of little flys swarming around the garden of our new home. Are they likely to be fungus gnats? Perhaps a little difficult to see but all of the little specs in the photo are the flies. They seem to come and go but are usually always clustered together.

Probably just Gnats, they do that.
You do seem to have a lot, do you have any standing water around.

With the warm sunny weather they could be Midges or similar, are they biting you ?

We do have a water feature that I'm going to clean out over the weekend.

No they don't bite, they're just a big nuisance and putting us off having a bbq until we can resolve the issue. I'm thinking they're gnats so I'll put an apple cider vineger trap out there and see how we get on.
