    Ahh, there you are!

Is it really Sunday today? - I better get back to bed then ;) ;) ;) .

I'm fine, managed 3 hours in bed so better than the last few days. The forecast is hot down here so have to go and give my beans, toms, courgettes and triffids a really good watering.

    See you later.

    Morning Kandy
Just fought my way out of the clutches of the triffids - they seem to be growing about 6 inches a day. Mrs shiney and I are going to have to take the loppers to them as they have climbed up the toms and reached the top.

Windy - I quite often managed 4 or 5 hours in bed but am usually up for a walk around the house after a couple of hours before going back to bed.

If you see a zombie walking down the street - that's me!!!!!!

Shiney. When you say triffids do you mean pumpkins?Mine are on the march as well.I was shocked at how far they can travel, though I have got some cracking pumpkins coming on for the local allotment pumpkin growing competition.

No, they are butternut squash. One of them has reached 50 feet in length but have had to wind it round. See my posting 'butternut squash trials' under 'Edible' section.

I hope you win the pumpkin competition - when is it?

You obviously have trouble sleeping, I'm okay now but have suffered with insomnia sometimes getting no sleep at all!

I'ts not good but people like Margaret Thatcher and Winston Churchill both survived on 3/4 hours sleep per night.

    More time for gardening.

    Stingo ;)

    Hi Stingo

I've always been like this - since I was a kid - but used to get my 3 or 4 hours undisturbed.

Hope the seeds grow well - good luck with them.
