    Hi fellow gardeners.
We have recently moved to a house in Eynsford with a wonderful garden, with 2 large lawns and surrounded by trees and bushes, providing total privacy.
We are eagerly waiting for the spring and summer to see the garden in its full glory before we decide how we will add our own mark! However,as my partner is a keen veggie grower,we have already decided to add a greenhouse and a couple of vegetable beds.
I've joined the site,as it seems like a great place to get some useful hints and tips about gardening .
    Best wishes
    Jim

Hi Jim, and welcome to the forum.

Quite often when someone joins a forum, someone always says its a friendly place to be. The difference with this forum is that it REALLY is... Friendly people that know what they are talking about because when a question is answered, they've actually done it, and not read about it somewhere.

Welcome James T, I would definitely concur with Sandy Grounds sentiments . Living in Scotland we endured some really horrendous weather yesterday and people on GC were very kind and caring that we survived! I seldom have not had a question answered and the freely given knowledge is excellent. You will often get great ideas and save money too by finding out the best products to buy and where best to get them too. A certain member beginning with Scr..... is the all time bargain hunter. If you would like my recommendation re greenhouse please PM me as I'm not sure I can "advertise" on here. Mine is not the cheapest but nowhere near the most expensive either. It survived incredibly strong winds yesterday (91mph or higher) with no damage. if that isn't a recommendation I don't know what is.
