    Hi everyone!
Just introducing myself...I'm new to the forum but not new to gardening - done quite abit over the years!
Still learning though......I love my gardening but my muscles and joints get more easily tired these days and earlier this year I fractured my wrist which has cramped my style for quite awhile ( a poet too :hapydancsmil: ) I still find certain things difficult, lifting etc but Its improving all the while thank goodness!
Dear hub and I moved into our bungalow a year ago. We inherited a lovely mature plot - though very overgrown and it has needed quite abit of tlc which is still ongoing. The back garden is the biggest problem.....Anyway I will start a new thread to show you what's what over the next day or so. In the meantime I look forward to becoming an active member here when time allows......

Here's a photo of the front garden to be going on with.....

Armani I know! My spirit is often willing but the flesh is weak these days! I can remember the times I could spend all day out gardening, moving stuff around, mowing the lawn - everything! But not now. Find it quite frustrating really as I'm not the most patient person where gardening's concerned.....hate to leave it half done. Weather doesn't help does it either...you get started on a job then the blooming heavens open!

Well, Jardine, I think the thing is to take things slowly and achieve something, no matter how small, to make you feel you've done something positive:snork: My garden is mainly herbaceous so plants put shoots up, grow and flower, and then disappear back into the soil......makes things a lot simpler for a simple gardener:heehee:

Welcome, Jardin :dbgrtmb:, you'll enjoy it on here.

A lot of us know the feeling :heehee:. I have a large garden that needs a lot of work but just do what I can - then have a break for an hour or two (or more). It all gets done but just takes longer :). It can't possibly have anything to do with age :nonofinger: - but is just my chosen lifestyle :snork:

                Hallo Jardin,
love the front garden with the sun setting on it. Good for plants that don't appreciate the scorching sun. We spend absolutely AGES on GC ticking each other off for going at it like a bull in a china shop and then having to go and have a lie down 'cos the back's too sore to sit upright!!
You are among friends - enjoy,:sign0016:

Welcome Jardin, lovely garden so neat and tidy, it won't look like that once you get hooked with the time you spend in GC. Although you could always leave hubby working in the garden whilst you enjoy your time here. Just tell him you have your own 'corner' of the 'garden' to tend.:sign0016:

Your front garden looks very inviting; might have to pop round for a cuppa ... just to authenticate the photo :heehee:
