Hi my names Kathy new to the site, I have quite a large garden,3rd acre, started from scratch 10 years ago, apart from small wooded area, love growing from seed and cuttings but my real obsession are hemerocallis have 138 different varieties, always room for one more though as long as there's still grass to dig up,lol.

Hi Simbad, Welcome to Gardeners Corner. You'll find that everyone is very friendly and willing to give a helping hand in advice when asked for. You sound very happy with your garden and not far off the national collection of Day Lilies. Put's my collection of 3 varieties to shame!!

Hello Simbad - and very welcome.
As the others have said there are several members here very interested in Haemorocallis
but you could come and be our resident expert
I grow a few myself, but nowhere near your quantity.
    What's your "must have" variety.

    Simbad, very, very impressive!:rolleyespink: Welcome!

I'm also new to the forum, but I will follow your posts (and especially photos)!

I only have 4 varieties for now: Hemerocallis fulva, another orange double-flowered one, Crimson Pirate and Strawbery Candy. This year I will definitely enrich my collection with Stella d'Oro and Blue Eyes...

But yours must look like a fairy tale scene! :)

Just seen your pleading hands Spruce very good:heehee:, no I don't have Egyptian Queen, do have Moonlit Masquerade though which I see is one of the parents so if its anything like that one it'll be good, flowers for ages here, hope you can have Jellyfish Jealousy its a beauty, mine isn't big enough to split yet still only 2 fans or we could have done a bit of swapping:), I sold quite a lot of divisions of my older varieties on ebay last year sold them 5 for £10+ postage they went like hot cakes, made quite a bit of money, but just spent it on more:heehee: still they didn't cost me anything worth thinking about when yours get bigger, good way to fund a habit.
