Hi strongylodon. I just googled the Helichrysum Bracteatum seeds. I really like them so they're something I can keep in mind. Thanks for the tip. :)

        Hi Fern4,
so glad you are into growing flowers for bees. I fell in love with Linaria Purpurea and Linaria Canon John Went last year, having viewed it in an old garden. It was alive with busy bees. I have it growing in a few places in the borders this Spring - looking forward to seeing it do its stuff!
        Welcome to Gardeners Corner :spinning:

Hi Jenny - I've got some Linaria Canon J Went seeds which I'm going to try this year. The flowers are pink I believe. Looks like I picked another good bee plant. I was advised to plant them direct in spring but I don't know whether I should start them off in pots inside instead. Maybe I'll try both methods! Thanks for the welcome to Gardeners Corner and the bee plant tips. I'll google Linaria Purpurea now. :blue thumb:

I think they will be happy to perform either way Fern4. I think they do like a spot of sun during the day,

Hello and welcome to GC. Good for you growing plants from seeds. It's amazing how trying something new suddenly gives you the "bug". For me it was getting a whole batch of cuttings to root!

Hi Sian. Hope it's a nice day in Belgium today. I've been reading up about cuttings because I've been wondering how it's done - it's next on my list of things to try. No doubt there will be cuttings all over the house very soon!

            Hi Everybody!
Ive been looking at this site and reading avidly for a while so thought it good etiquette to join lol.
I live oop North in the North West near St Helens for my sins, have a 90 ft x 30 ft rear garden with a pond, patio, 18ft x 6ft greenhouse and love fucshias with a passion. I suffer with chronic neuropathy so am quite interested in the db section (as well as the others of course).
Im really looking forward to rolling my sleeves up and getting stuck in on here like a true gardener lol.
Anyway, great to be hear. Pete

            Hi Pete,
I'm new too but I just want to say hello and welcome you to Gardeners Corner. I also live oop north and Whiston isn't that far from me! I'll be wanting some advice from you I think when it comes to fucshias. :) I'd like to buy some but I don't know where to start - something for a fucshia beginner would be nice. Any ideas?
