            I can't be drawn back more than I usually am, read almost every day.
            Doubt I'll post much as I'm a bit shy, not confident about my gardening skills and in awe of the knowledge here. Mainly want to learn :smile:.

              Don't be shy - everyone here is here to help as well as enjoying the chatter. There is only one silly question when it comes to gardening, and that is the question that you decide not to ask. Nobody here will judge you or criticise you (it wouldn't be tolerated even if they did try), and I am sure that before long you will get to know a lot of the regulars well.

              GC thrives on people asking questions, and posting photographs of their achievements, and even their failures - its all part of learning together. :)

                Well, for someone who is unsure of their gardening skills, it looks like you are doing a fantastic job! Our @wiseowl will no doubt love the roses, and @ARMANDII and @Jenny namaste will love the photos (a couple of our many photo experts).

                By the way, what kind of snake is that in the third or fourth picture?
