Hi everyone my name is Jan, I've just recently join the forum and I thought that the best way to start would be to introduce myself. I'm a professional chiropractor and love gardening in my spare time.
I'm really looking forward to talking to all of you on here soon!

    Jan

Thank you everyone - good to be part of the forum.....I am getting worried about all of the brambles that are winning the war in my garden ...I cleared them all from a rhodedendron patch last year and now the blooming things have all come through again - when I promised myself that I would keep on top of them ...question though - I can't put on weedkiller as the roots are intertwined with the rhodedendrons and I can't dig up the roots for the same reason - is there anything anyone can recommend so that I might get rid of them rather than just cutting them back in order to avoid me facing them every year getting stronger - when I am getting weaker! I used to spend hours in the garden thinking I was superman or woman - then I finally messed my back up a couple of years ago and now I just do bits and pieces ..... doing regular exercises helps and I am a chiropractor so I should have known better from the start - but I overdid it and now I feel OK but can't do what I used to do - so please everyone - pace yourselves and don't mess up like I did - if anyone needs any advice about how to best go about gardening without ending up crocked - ask away - I have learned so much since I overdid it and I really would like to help others not get into the state that I did!
