Help identifying and eradicating please

    Hello.

    I am looking for some advice on firstly identifying this weed, which seems to be able to thrive through tarmac and how I can remove / destroy it. "Round up" seems to have little or no effect.

    Any advice would be gratefully received.

    [​IMG] cov_shark... That weed is Mares Tail.. It is very invasive.. Roundup will kill it but you must bruise & bash the stems about a bit & then apply your round up.. It is essential you damage the stems though for the weed killer to get in as it will not be absorbed by the leaves.. It will take a couple of applications but you will win.. Just don't give up on the horrid stuff.. Good luck & look forward to seeing you around the forums.. :thumb:
