Any suggestions where I can sell a perfect, as new 2 year old camera for a fair price.
    One very careful owner.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2000 bought 7th May 2019...with camera case.
    Camera cost....£800.00.
    Have original invoice.

Bought for holidays but illness meant it was not used.
Far too complicated /heavy for me...it is now a white elephant.
I have my tiny Canon Ixus that is idiot proof, simple and light.

    Thanks.SS HOWARD NEW CAMERA PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-FZ2000eb 7th MAY 2019 09-05-2019 11-51-00.JPG HOWARD NEW PANASONIX LUMIX CAMERA 08-05-2019 17-03-14.JPG

The easiest way is to sell to an online camera shop, somewhere like: mpb.com - Buy or Sell Used Photo & Video Equipment - this will be the least hassle but the lowest price, I did a quick check with mpd and they would buy your model for £415. (Please note I have never used mpd, I have used a similar company called cex.com but they don't appear to be buying your camera model at the moment).

Depending where you are and don't mind visiting shops there might be a camera exchange shop who would give you a similar price. We have the London Camera Exchange shop near us, I guess there might be a similar chain up in Scotland, @Fat Controller would know.

I prefer to sell my old gear on ebay which gives me the best price and is a fair indicator of what things are worth. I looked on ebay and sold prices for your camera range between £435 to £500+ plus p&p, your hardly used one could get that upper price, maybe more if you have a memory card and new bag to go with it.

If you haven't already got an ebay account it can be a bit of a faff setting up, and then you have to pack and post, happy to tell you more about ebay if you want.

I can't say I am aware of any chains in Scotland for that sort of thing now - 21 years I have been in England and a lot has changed.

Ebay is a good shout, or Shpock is also - the latter has no selling fees and whilst it is geared mostly to be used on smartphones, it can also be used on a web browser.

Of course, you are free to post in the For Sale section here too - we have some camera enthusiasts about. Perhaps @wiseowl is the man to ask, he is great with camera stuff.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

If you go down the eBay route, you can put a reserve on it, that's if you go down the auction route. So if your looking for £500 for example, then put a reserve of £550, then you should get something close to £500 after fee's. It will only sell if someone bids over your reserve setting.

You can do a search on eBay to see what your type of camera has been selling for, to do this you need to do the following.
On eBay's site where the blue search icon is to the right, you will see "advanced" click on that. Then you enter what your selling in the box where it says "find items" then tick the box "sold listings" then click "search". You will then see a list of what that item has been selling for on eBay

A brief look around suggests £500-£600 as a used buy, so hopefully you will get most of your money back. Lovely camera.

Oh my goodness, how could I forget Ffordes! I bought a lens from then for Mrs C a few years back and their customer service was absolutely first class.
