I have a Japanese Acer (planted 2 years ago) and the leaves are just in the process of unfurling. Looking today, the buds/leaves are covered in these - can anyone tell me what they are and how I get rid of them?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Aphids I'd say.

just a normal insecticide spray should sort them out.
