I was chatting to the gardeners at Hidcote today about the forum and they wondered if any members had old pictures/photo's of the Manor gardens. They are attempting to recreate the gardens as they once were. This months N.T magazine features one of the students who has rebuilt an area using some old pic's.
    ..Anyone? [IMG]

Thanks.. :D ...I did! A plasterer at work has some of his Wife with her Father who was the Head Gardener at Hidcote. He hadn't a clue where the gardens are but remembered the name written on them when he heard me talking about the glazing I'm doing there. ;)

Hi Paladin. Are we talking about the Hidcote that`s now a hotel or something ? I took the kids there many moons ago. I dont have any pics but at the time I`d just bought one of those newfangled video cameras, and I still have some video footage. I dunno if I could do anything with it, with regard to making pics. Cheers....freddy.

Hmm....I dont think it`s the same place. Pretty sure it was bought out by some tycoon. Used to be open to the public...had jousting and other events. Maybe it`s HidEcote I`m thinking of ? Cheers...freddy.
