how is everyone? any news re: roses

How is everyone? Anyone still working on creating rose beds? Any news from rose world on next season? I just cant wait to get out there again and do some gardening

 

My work is done on my rose bed until the growing season starts again, when I'll be growing from seed to underplant the roses. I haven't done anything in the garden for three weeks, with so much rain here it is just a bog and it's best to stay off it until conditions improve, if and when that may be.

 

Its got wet here too now. Love ur avatar. Weve just adopted a raindeer from a sanctuary in scotland for my daughter for christmas

that sounds really nice u are going to underplant. How did u decide what lplants to use

 

The island has been flooding today CRG, but the rain has stopped for now and the levels are dropping.

Thanks, my daughter took the picture last weekend where she lives in Canada, I thought it would be topical at the moment.

 

Hope the flooding receeds for u sheal. I have just joined the Royal National Rose Society today. Hope i get some good info

 

All my poor Roses are up to their 'ankles' in water....Roll on spring........

 

Same here for rain,it doesnt seem to stop for long i think i should move my newish delivered and potted up roses into the potting shed for a bit of drying out

 

Mine are doing okay despite the rain. They all still have their leaves on and the Mutabilis is even producing buds. We need a decent sustained cold snap.

 

GOt 11 new arrivals today my christmas roses. Will position them tomorrow. So excited
