Hi, another climbing hydrangea question, does anyone grow "bright side"? It is another plant I was given, not something I'd personally buy but am willing to see if I'm wrong. When I received it the leaves were quite scorched. I don't know if this was because it was in a pot and last summer was hot and dry (my guess was it would have been reduced at the garden centre, which is likely why someone gave it to me), or whether because it's a yellow leaved cultivar, that it doesn't like to much sun. I know some yellow leaved plants only show that colour in full sun and some need shade in order to do the same thing, so I can't work out where to put it. Does anyone have it, or know if they prefer more shade or do they need sun? The Internet is a little ambiguous as usual on the subject.
