    Hi everyone!

I noticed one of my nearby neighbour's has this sort of conifer in their front garden and thought I would like one too.

    Heres a picture of it

Was also wondering if someone could tell me if the plant above does well in shade as the picture I took of this shrub doesn't get any sun at all. I was hoping someone could confirm this before I went out and bought one.

Juniper? or one of the "blue" Chamaecyparis perhaps? (we used to have a lovely one at a previous house)

Because of the shape at the bottom it looks a bit like an Elwoodii that has had the edges and top shaped. If it is Elwoodii then the only problem you may have is if you get heavy snow. Although the cold and snow doesn't affect them the weight of the snow can open them out a bit as all the branches are nearly vertical.
