I Thought I Had Retired !.

And I thought I had Retired, AGAIN. .
I retired from full time employment seven years ago.
I had retired umpteen times before that, and returned to work in various jobs,but this time I thought,definitely this is it..

Phone Call on Monday,Would i be interested returning to work,on a part time basis,(20 hours) a week.
I thought it over and phoned the company back giving them my answer,"Yes".

The job entails Hotel Security and setting up rooms for various types of functions.Weddings, Private Functions,Company Meetings,Fashion Shows Etc.

I have done this type of work on various occasions and found it very enjoyable and a lot of fun,Plenty Glasgow Banter,not to mention the extra Bucks it brings into the home. At Present ,I Am the Wife's Best Pal ,Wonder how long that will last..

So Here We Go Again, Wish Me Luck , He Who Dares Wins..

It's funny how OH wants you to retire - "I'll be good for you dear" etc.
Once it happens, it's not long before - "before you retired ..." etc.

You'll be OH's best buddy again once she has her domain to herself each day (or as many of them that you end up working - again)

Just enjoy the work, but don't forget to retire AGAIN when they start ladling the extra work.
