I thought it was a giant gazania

    These were fantastic this year - still flowering although this one is the last of it's colour.
    I thought it was a large gazania but apparently not. Has spearlike (a little fleshy) leaves with lots of little hairs Grew to about 70-80cm before collapsing under the weight of the flower heads.
    Thinking the were small gazanias i planted in the front of the border but should have been mid of at the back.
    Im sure a knowledgable gardener will identify immediately

    Thank you. I spend most of my time in the garden so thought it was about time I joined in here and learn more about what I'm actually doing!

          Thanks lost-in-france. I grew them from seed for the first time this year. The colour is amazing, loads of flowers and they've even survived one frosty night so far.
