    Probably totally wrong Woo but the first one looks like an Ornamental Kale which has bolted and is going to seed. [​IMG]

    Yeah, I think your right Strongy, ornamental cabbage, no 1.
    No 2 could be some kind of anemonie.

    I'm more than probably wrong because I don't know British wildflowers, only been learning since here.

    Without looking in my books, first looks to me like a wild Ajuga and I recognise the second but will have to come back tomorrow ...

    Woo,the first plant looks likes an Ornamental cabbage{Brassica Oleracea} running to seed and the second plant is an Anemone{Windflower}.When it is in the seed stage the head has lots of fluffy seed heads on the top.
