A number of things have cropped up in our weedy area, or in the case for two are plants bought last year which were marked incorrectly (ie not what appeared on the package!).

      Hi Ben,

No 2 is an Iris. @longk should be able to say which one.

No 4 is an Azalea, impossible to say which one without seeing flowers as there are 1000,s.

I agree with JazzSi's id. Let the berries mature and scatter the seed about when the stem wilts and the berries come off easily as you can get some interesting variation. Here are some of mine.............

Thank you all. My colleague at work confirmed the Azalea, it blooms into a deep pinky red flower, I'm sure that's not enough to ID but forgot to mention it. Thank you too for the Iris ID! I'm hoping to relocate that into my raised bed when it's on the go.

Re no.5 the Forsythia I'm not sure this is correct as it never bloomed in yellow flowers... unless it's too small at the moment?

Anyone have a clue for the first or last? I should've added that number 1's leaves are enormous - at least 50cm across. Is the last perhaps a tree sapling?
