    I think its a rockery plant,

    It has the look of Buglosoides purpurocaerulea, but that is a real guess.

    Thanks for your post. Just checked out wikipedia Lithospermum_purpurocaeruleum. The dimensions look to big.

    Hyssop seems likely/similar, though still not sure.
