Am stumped! Well done Gogs and Mira on the Ajuga, and David with the Ceanosis, and everyone else with their inputs - definitely a team effort!!!

PS roders - which ones of the possible two answers (in no.6,8 and 20) were correct?

I would not have guessed a Viburnum ... is it the Snowball?

I was only say to JarBax, my dearest, that No 3 was NOT a Privet as mentioned in my posting at 6.13pm. [IMG]

Think we all did well in general and together as we seem to do with these sort of things. [IMG]

My Choisya which I had for 10-12 years in Bucks didn't look like that ... mine was green, is yours ill?

I think I may agree it's an Ajuga reptans ... certainly not the pink/white one (name?????) I have also. [IMG]

I still want to know which Viburnum it is because it doesn't look everygreen ... ?????

    [IMG] Ajuga Is ok.

Choisya is well....this is new growth and will turn green.

Viburnum is one of the winter flowering deciduous ones.....not quite sure which one.

There are three main varieties of Choisya, ternata which is green, ternata Sundance which is golden and Aztec Pearl which is green but with feathery foliage.

LOL, I think the Viburnum is possibly lantana.

Evening, David ... think I'll have to disagree there ... they certainly don't go blotchy here and are a glossy darkish green and this looks deciduous. Also, I don't think roders has a Lantana ... pete does and perhaps Strongy.

I dislike anything deciduous ... ... but tolerate my Cercis because of it's beauty and also losing a few fronds of the Jacaranda. [IMG]
