    :mad::mad::mad:
    Ordered a phone from Virgin on the 16th, told it would be delivered on the 17th. 2 e-mails from Virgin, one saying will be del between 8 - 5, the other 8 - 6, no prob. Guess what, no phone yesterday.
    Sit here all day till now, no phone.
    Use USP tracking service and just happen to notice that it was apparently tried to be delivered yesterday and is out for delivery again today. Phone UPS, usual helpful service:mad:. Finally i said, the driver didn't go to **place name**(place 3 miles away from us) did he?, oh yes says the man. Well, I said, I'm not there I'm in **place name***. OK, says the man, I've sent that information out and the driver should get it & I can see no reason why it shouldn't be delivered today.

    Should, should screeeeeaaammm, you mean 'will be':mad:

    Anyway, I've e-mailed Virgin to have a go cos it's either them given the wrong postcode to UPS(don't think so) or UPS driver/despatcher cocked up. This road has been here since 1936 so it's not like it's new. Why don't the councils think too - we have these 2 avenues called the same 3 miles apart, plus another one in the other place with 'worth' at the end of the first name of street. Still called Avenue. Doesn't anyone think anymore, is everyone incapable of doing anything without being hand held.

    Guess what.......:thumb::D:D:D It's just arrived. I couldn't shout at the driver could I, he had the wrong postcode. I'm off to play now. btw, it's only an old type walkman phone but I'm getting free and it's a big improvement on the one I've got now.

    So, I'm happy now. sorry folks.

    cheers

    when i lived in Ryde all the streets have very similar names or it's in fact one long street which probably should of been made into two but you would get so far and you would find number 11A and then 11B and finally you would get an 11C lol we learnt to get to know the people at these house very well as we were constantly ferrying our mail to each over :D
