    Hi Fancy.The Iris is a Siberian type and the name if I am correct is 'Perry's Blue'Hope this is of help to you.They are quite prolific and will grow to a good spread.

    Spring is the best time to split them as they are coming into growth as when they are split in the Autumn as they are dying back,becasue they prefere the warmth for good root production something you won't get in the Autumn when they are going dorment...

    Thank you Kandyfloss, for that info I have had the plant for 10 years. flowers are soo delicate and feathery.
