I have been plantinmg many seeds and bulbs these past few months and many are already flowering or almost there , however several plants keep appearing which grow rather tall and long , I assume they are weeds as they dont seem to flower oir just take a while to do so , but they are very easy to pull up so I asm really not sure

It's a weed, purple flowers in a few weeks time. It grows wild by the roadside in great drifts here....and i can't for the life of me remember the name! There was another thread a couple of weeks ago with someone asking the same question and it got named then.

Looks a bit similar to Lythrum.

Hi Evette and welcome. That looks lik long- leaved willow herb, a menace in my garden. Don't let it seed or you will get zillions of them

Looks like Rosebay Willow herb. It actually doesn't look bad when it flowers, but then comes the fluffy mass of seeds that will disperse everywhere. Fortunately they are really easy to pull out, and they don't seem to have good roots so they only bring a little bit of soil with them, rather than uprooting half the garden.

Willow herb, like ladys smock, grows everywhere near me, I quite like them to be honest so unless it is somewhere I don't particularly want it to be I leave it, otherwise it comes out dead easy-don't even need to get your knees dirty.

It's a weed Evette. It's easy to get rid of if you don't let it flower and seed. It's worth having a big purge against it for one year - it will save you years of work.
