I find it so refreshing, when travelling to the Greek islands, to be allowed to make my own decision whether or not to go right to the edge of a 400 foot drop :D :D
Also, if you drive too fast round the hairpin bends in the mountains, you are likely to go over the edge cos there are no barriers - surprise, surprise :D :D

 

That sign is their to protect the local authority as if someone drives in the water and their is no sign ..well they can sue the local authority. by saying their wasnt a sign...We are becoming like america and will sue for everything and anything.. sad but true... :rolleyes:

Yes, you're quite right with all you say - unfortunately. It's stupid, though!
It bothers me that kids now aren't getting the chance to learn the dangers - they're always being told not to do things, and that's never very successful. We all knew which berries were ok to eat, and so on - now they don't. That's sad. They won't know how nice a fresh bramble tastes - poor things.

the sign in my car says small person on board but with me having 2 i had to put an s on the end of person funny how you cant find anything in plural these days :eek: :D

 

Presumably it's so that if you want to reduce the number of children in the world (or dogs!) you can aim to crash into those cars......
