Hi, would someone mind telling me if this tree is an Acer Palmatum Seiryu? I saw this tree
in the front garden of a house.

    Thank you, Antony

Hi Anthony - and welcome to the forum.

I am no expert on Acers - perhaps someone else knows. Its certainly an Acer palmatum (palm shaped leaves) var dissectum (dissected ie thin leaves).

However "Seiryu" is one of hundreds of cultivars that all look similar - so I have no idea if its that. Though looking at the links below "Seiryu" does seem to stand out from the others. :dunno:

    Have a look here http://japanesemaplesandconifers.com/Acer_palmatum_Seiryu.html
