It is a strange world

You sing a song, and get paid £10k, then every time it is played for the next fifty years you get 10p from whoever in the world played it

You landscape a large estate garden, get £2k then walk away to find some other income paying job for your next meal

You take part in a Film, get paid wads of money, and every time it is shown throughout the world you get Royalties

You build a car, get paid and have to keep building them, or you get nothing ?

Thats the way it goes Jack . Nobody has ever said life is meant to be fair.

 

non-material goods can be enjoyed many times without getting worn or braking so they last much longer than material goods, they last for a whole lifetime.
There must be a way to pay for them, the amount of which is debatable. But if there is too much of an offer of those goods the revenues can be of negligent value.

 

........and as for footballers Jack, don't get me started!
