        looks amazing, hard work to start off with , but I should imagine care is quite easy after that , hopefully inspire more.
        Is it aubretia ? running through the bed to give it a stream effect as that works really well

        Hi Spruce,

        If you mean the pale purple stream in the first pic, that's Phlox. Flowers don't last long on it, though.

        Ajuga Evening Glow is planted under the maples to help keep weeds down. Ajuga is a thug, though.

        The tree with yellow flowers in the third pic is Azora Lanceolata.

        Phlox looks great , hey nothing last does it !! I will have to look up Azora L

        Even the New Zealand Flax works well with the contrasting shape of the sword leaves in the background as it draws the eye and balances it out, best garden photo I have seen for ages.

        I bet it must look even more amazing in the Autumn
