Hi everybody from a first time poster (so treat me gently please!).

I've got two Jojoba trees and would appreciate some advice as to how to look after them. Number 1 is around 2-3 years old and this year is growing at an alarming rate - approximately 10-12 feet at the moment (I've got it "trained" to "droop" as similar to a Weeping Willow - is this correct?), Last year it seemed to flourish and produced one solitary (miniscule) fruit and then to quote a phrase "it all went pear shaped" - no pun intended!! The leaves all shrivelled up and that was that!! All's going extremely well this year with plenty of healthy leaves and I want it to stay that way - HELP.

Number 2 is only about 3ft talll but, so far, is also flourishing.

Any advice welcome. And by the way I would NOT class myself as a dedicated gardener - more as an enthusiastic learner!!!

You dont say where you are growing these plants.

Its not a plant I have tried, but being of desert extraction it will need strong sun and heat in summer, probably dry in winter and cool but frost free.
